Valentina Grant is an American-Chilean illustrator and visual storyteller born and raised in Champaign, Illinois. She studied at the University of Illinois School of Art & Design, where she focused on illustration and animation. Her passion for art began at an early age and grew even stronger after receiving her first drawing tablet as a birthday gift.
As a freelance artist and former mentee in the Women in Animation mentorship program, Valentina has developed a diverse skill set in illustration, visual development, and storytelling. She is currently illustrating a children's book and is passionate about creating engaging worlds through character design, immersive environments, storyboarding, and stylized illustrations.
She is seeking full-time and freelance opportunities in concept art, storyboarding, background design, and illustration.
