Hello!
My name is Valentina Grant. I’m a proud American Chilean, born and raised in Champaign, Illinois. I studied art at the University of Illinois School of Art & Design, where I focused on illustration and animation. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and everything changed the day I received a drawing tablet as a birthday gift!
Since then, I’ve worked as a freelance artist, was a former mentee in the WOMEN IN ANIMATION program, and currently illustrating a children’s book. I’ve always been passionate about storytelling through art. Whether it’s designing immersive backgrounds, storyboarding scenes, or creating fun and stylized illustrations.
I am currently seeking full-time or freelance opportunities in concept art, storyboarding, background design, or illustration.
